I’m Emily, I’m 21, I’m a Libra, I’m a Slytherin, and I’m a real girl living a less than perfect but more than hilarious life. I believe it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring, and because of that, I’m generally happy with who I am. My friends mean everything to me, and I don’t think I’d be who I am without them. I go through friends quickly, but I don’t see it as a negative thing. I just believe that people serve their purpose in your life and then move on. I don’t trust people (except a certain few who know who they are <3), my intuition is always correct, and so whenever I have an immediate connection with someone, I know that they’re something to hold on to. Can I refer to those certain few people again?
Want to know random things about me? Okay! I drink way too much coffee and I’m addicted to white tic-tacs. My sleep pattern sucks, but I seem to be functioning just fine. I live my life strangely and with abnormal people because I find normalcy boring. I love dinosaurs, Harry Potter, graphic design, music, and love. Yes, I love love. I don’t believe in romantic love because I love my friends more than I could ever love a boy. I’m also a hypocrite, because as much as I’ll deny it, I would like to get married and adopt children. But, I know for a fact that I do not want to have my own kids. Most of the time I think I’m better off alone. It’s really not as depressing as it sounds! I also think the word “love” is used too freely and it’s causing it to become meaningless. I geek out over dinosaurs- my favorite is the diplodocus- and I could rant for hours about them. I also know a lot of random information about rocks and minerals and gemstones from working in a science museum. I’m currently rewriting the Harry Potter series with three of the most wonderful people I have ever known, Nate, Rachel, and Nathan. You should follow them!

I’m a graphic design major who gets really mad over stupid typefaces and type discrepencies. And, of course, who doesn’t love music? If you ever insult Andrew McMahon or Brand New I’ll probably begin to irrationally hate you.
I believe in a lot of things, but above all, I believe in the power of love. It rules my life. Love controls my friendships. And, because of love I also believe in a God. But, the God I believe in is an understanding God who understands the choices we make even if they aren’t what He would like for us to do. Most importantly, just like myself, my God loves the gays. Aside from love and religion, I also believe in ghosts, magic, exploration, acceptance, tolerance, individuality, and the power of sarcasm.
I’m blunt, loyal, honest, trustworthy, sarcastic, both strong and weak, logical, and absolutely out of my mind crazy.
I’ve been through a lot. I have countless stories to tell. And, I have plenty of advice to give. Trust me, I’ve experienced it all. If all of this hasn’t scared you away, you should talk to me. But, I should warn you… I’m not always a nice person.
